Biology and Mathematics Pre-Med | Emory College ’26
Christopher Park is a junior at Emory University studying biology and mathematics on the pre-med track. His academic journey and interest in cardiology resulted in him joining the Yoon Lab.
Under the mentorship of Dr. Han, Chris hopes to expand his knowledge in direct reprogramming. His current research focuses on addressing key challenges in cell-based therapies for peripheral artery disease.
Looking ahead, Chris plans to attend medical school following his studies at Emory. His ultimate goal is to specialize in cardiology, a field that will allow him to combine his passion for medicine with his commitment to serving impoverished communities.
Outside of academics, Chris is a member of the Emory University Symphony Orchestra and the president of Emory Men’s Club Lacrosse. He also loves watching sports and is an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
