Changyub is a Ph.D. student in the Biomedical Engineering Joint Program at Georgia Tech and Emory University. He completed his undergraduate and master’s degree at Seoul National University, where his research focused on engineering functional hydrogels for modulation of tissue resident macrophages to mediate tissue regeneration.
Changyub is excited to apply his prior experiences to aid his academic pursuits in the Yoon Lab. His current research aims to develop novel methods to produce vascularized cardiac organoids which he hopes will aid the ongoing fight against cardiovascular disease.
In his spare time, Changyub enjoys playing tennis, hiking, trying out new foods, and spending time with his family.
